The year got off to a slightly rocky start when the oxygen masks deployed on our flight to Loreto, Mexico. That was only the first in a series of sagas culminating in our bus to Ensenada hitting a cow. From that point, things got better and we met the owners of the Kialoa II undergoing repairs in Baja Naval, Mexico.
The Kialoa II got underway a month or so later and we met up with her again in June on Mangareva, French Polynesia. From there we sailed to Pitcairn and Henderson Islands in the Pacific.
