This was also among the first birds I spotted on day one of my South Africa Birding & Wildlife Safari. One was spotted as we left the airport, and a couple more were at our hotel in Johannesburg on November 6, 2022.
Several more were seen during the South Africa trip, mostly in Kruger National Park.
