Apple Pie Recipe

Prepare 2 pie crusts. Put one uncooked in the bottom of a pie tin.

Put diced apples in a bowl and sprinkle all other ingredients over them. Mix until everything is well distributed.

Add pie filling to crust in pie tin and cover with the second crust. Crimp the edges together and cut a few small vent holes for hot gases to escape while the pie cooks. These holes can be decorative.

Put tin foil around the pie edge to prevent the crust from burning where it is very thin. Bake the pie for 50 minutes at 400oF.
