Dieffenbachia

My former neighbor, Ida, gave me a Dieffenbachia plant shortly after I moved into the house in 2014. She had them all over her house, and I understand why. These plants are incredibly easy to propogate, and I now have 8 or 9 of them.

The one pictured above had the first and only flower I've seen on any of the plants in the last 8 years.

The original plant grew tall (reaching well into the 2nd story in the entry foyer) and then fell over and broke in half. I put the top half in water and it rooted, and the bottom is still fine. The plants seem to be easy care, but unfortunately grow too tall with a week trunk and tend to break.
