I planted 2 coneflowers (picked up at Shoprite) in the lower north side tier on July 2, 2022. The yellow one was labelled Echinacea hybrid if the Shoprite label is correct, and the other is Echinacea purpurea. The yellow one is doing okay, but the purple one is suffering from the hot dry summer so far.
I planted two more coneflowers (from Rosedale Nursery) in the upper side tier on September 16, 2022. One is a Cheyenne Spirit Mix Coneflower. The other is a Kismet Raspberry variety.
