Black-eyed Susan (Rudbeckia hirta )

A patch of Black-eyed Susans was left behind in the back NW corner of our lower yard. I discovered them when they bloomed toward the end of our first summer (2014) and they've kept returning each year, though I frequently think they are not going to show up as they bloom fairly late in the year.
