We started the year off with a trip to Malta: No More Falcons. There may not have been a Maltese Falcon, but we did see 3 World Heritage Sites.
Later in the year, We made it as high as Everest Base Camp during our Roof of the World trip in the Fall of 2002.
We discoverd geocaching in 2002 and quickly got into the hobby. Hidden near where we lived in Altadena, Another Way was our first cache hide located along the El Prieto Trail. We had originally planned to place a cache near the site of Owen Brown's grave, a neat discovery made while dog walking in the area, but problems with the neighbor caused us to venture a little further to a spot with a cool trail sign. Sadly, both the sign and the cache disappeared in the next year.
