Hummus Recipe

(recipe from Tracey Parrish)


  • 1 can garbanzo beans (drained + juice reserved)
  • 1-2 cloves fresh garlic
  • approx. 1/2 cup olive oil
  • 1 tsp cumin powder
  • 1-2 tbsp tahini
  • juice of 1 lemon
  • 2-3 tbsp sun-dried tomato pesto
  • 1-2 tsp salt

In blender, add ingredients in the following order:

lemon juice, garlic

3/4 cup oil, tahini, cumin

garbanzo beans + half of their juice

Blend on med speed adding more oil until a smooth consistency is reached.

Add in the pesto and mix. Add salt to taste.
