First seen in Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary in India while our guide was looking for Siberian Cranes. We weren't into birds back then, and didn't know what these were.
I've also seen them in Virginia, Ohio, Delaware, NJ, Massachusetts, Louisiana, Texas, Florida, Cuba, Tanzania, Costa Rica, Guatemala, South Africa, and closer to home in Westchester.
