First seen with a SMRA group birding in Central Park on May 14, 2018
Lynn got a glimpse of one briefly in Cliffdale after Charlie Roberto spotted one in August, 2020.
Our best view of the bird came on our own during a trip to Doodletown (where they nest) on May 17, 2021. We were asking ourselves why are these birds mainly on this side of the river, when Charlie found one in Croton Point Park the next day.
