Purchased one at Hilltop Nursery in Croton July 1, 2022 because it was one of the few I noticed that didn't require "full sun".
Planted in the front yard next to birch trees on July 4, 2022. The plant didn't do too well in this spot. Combination of summer drought, plus too close to the bird seeder where sunflower seeds drop and degrade growing conditions. I moved the plant to the side yard lower tier with other natives on Sept 16, 2022. ( photo of what's left of the plant)
