I believe my location is on the Southern edge of where junipers are native. The plant person at Rosedale Nursery recommended this plant for the poor, rocky soil area next to my mailbox. I wanted to put St. John's Wort there and ended up putting the juniper in the front garden where I usually plant bulbs and summer annuals.
