Italian Meat Balls

Any variety of seasoned salad croutons will work fine. Put approx. 4 oz. of croutons into a large bowl and crush them by hand. You just want to break them up into small pieces, not pulverize them. Add approx. 1/4 cup of water, just enough to make all the bread damp.

Mix in spices, eggs, and cheese and stir well.

Add ground beef, mix and form into largish meat balls, approximately 16 - 20.

Heat olive oil and saute meat balls on medium-high. Rotate until browned on all sides.

Add approximately 3 cups of your favorite of spaghetti sauce. Reduce heat and simmer for 2 hours.
