We saw first noticed Red Squirrels in Leadville Colorado in 2009 during our Four Corners trip.
More recently, we came across them while birding during our Fall 2021 Adirondack Adventure. These guys make a lot of noise and we spent some time going "is that a bird up there" before figuring out it was one of these guys. (See movie)
