Our trip throug Germany included stops in Munich, Heidelberg, and Bacharach. We had a much longer stay in Munich when we visited for the Total Eclipse of the Sun in 1999.
We had packed for warm summer weather, which we had until reaching Heidelberg
where it was quite chilly, even in August.
