First seen in Cuba on a trip with SMRA, February 21, 2016. We spotted them 6 times during that trip:
During April, 2022 there have been a couple of rare sightings of these birds closer to home in Westchester. I managed to get myself out in time to see it the second time it popped up in Oscawana Island Nature Preserve on Easter, April 17, 2022.
