First ebirded at the Chestnut Ridge Hawk Watch on September 8, 2013. However, I'm sure I must have seen them before this date and probably had a hummingbird feeder at home.
We've seen them at other sites around Westchester, and at home. I usually put the feeder out around May 1, and the first hummer of the season shows up that week.
Also seen in Massachusetts, Texas, Illinois, and Guatemala.
