Since 2017, I've seen them regularly at the purple martin house installed in Croton Point Park.
Croton Bird Commissioner, Cary Andrews, got the town to place this purple martin house in Croton Landing park in May, 2023. I went with her to supervise the installation, and we've both played the Purple Martin dawn song multiple mornings to attract martin scouts. We continued doing this again in spring, 2024.
Yay!! The purple martins arrived on May 30, 2024!
