First noticed and ebirded these in Mill Plain Swamp in Danbury, CT on April 27, 2012. Nearly ten years later while going through some travel photos I found a nice shot of a family of Mute Swans taken during our Germany World Heritage Trip.
We've also seen them in Sweden, Massachusetts, New Jersey, and closer to home in Westchester.
